Rotational moulding is a cost-effective and environment-friendly manufacturing process for producing roto mould water tank. In rotomolding, the plastics are cooked at high temperatures in a hollow mould that is rotated at high speed around two axes. The resulting product has high abrasion and chemical resistance, excellent heat transfer and requires very low maintenance. In order to produce roto mold tank in rotoromolding, raw material polyethylene is heated up to around 180 to 200 °C for a few minutes. This process results in soft plastic made from ethylene, one of the main constituents of petrochemicals.

Product Details - Roto Mould Water Tanks 

These tanks are made from Linear Low-Density Polyethylene which is readily available in the market. The density of the LLDPE is such that it is easy to mould. Therefore, you can easily form a water storage tank out of it. 

  1. Roto Mould Water Tanks differ from other water tanks in that the surface is coated with a material that reflects more than 90% of the sunlight. As a result, the inside of the roto mould water tank remains cool and comfortable even during the hottest summer days. 
  2. Due to the insulation properties of the tank the water temperature is constant.  
  3. The cooling lid can be opened to let air in and also exhaust out water vapour from inside.
